Competition Center Pajulahti

Pajulahti Olympic & Paralympic Training Center hosts several national teams of various sports. Our training center can proudly present countless national and international elite athletes who prepare for international meets with us.

We offer competitive and elite sports-related training facilities, coaching education and training camps for professional athletes. Pajulahti has a strong role in elite coaching in Finland. In Research Institute for Olympic Sports’ evaluation of Finnish training centers Pajulahti was ranked as the second best.

Pajulahti Training Center has also received the status of an official Paralympic Training Center. We collaborate with the Paralympic Committee.

Paralympic Training Center supports athletes with disabilities and their coaches in their quest for the top-level sport development; training, education, training camps and competitions.

Our core sports at the moment are: track and field, tennis, football, judo, karate, boxing, basketball, volleyball, ice hockey, figure skating and adapted sports.

Our mission is to maintain and develop:

  • Training conditions for competitive and elite athletes
  • Coaching of competitive and elite athletes
  • Education and further qualification for coaches
  • Education supporting the growth of young athletes
  • Monitoring training and auxiliary measures in coaching

In co-operation

We work in close cooperation with several domestic sports federations, largest of which are track and field, tennis, judo, karate, boxing, american football, badminton and Finnish Paralympic Committee.

On club level the largest sport by far is soccer. Ice hockey, figure skating and swimming are also among our heavy users. Our training center engages in active training and development cooperation with the local Sports Academy and the main clubs of various sports.

Among our staff we have several top professional coaches and coaching experts.
